On-mountain lodging, a super-tasty snowboard park and a number of runs for skiers of all abilities..
The Scene
This is one of the best hills in the state, with beautiful views of Lake Superior. A main chalet and dining options are located at the top of the hill.
The Slopes
Just outside of Duluth, this 175-acre ski area features 22 tree-lined runs ranging from moderate to difficult. Snowboard and ski extremists will get their thrills at the freestyle Big Air Terrain Park. Next to the freestyle park is the snowboarders-only Outlaw Park, teeming with waves, slide rails and air jumps. For a serene skiing experience, check out the park's 22 kilometers of cross-country trails. The mountain is serviced by five towropes, one double chairlift, two triple chairlifts and two quad chairlifts. Snowmaking equipment ensures that the slopes are up to snuff.
