Nice hotel, good location. We were looking to stay in Duluth while the Tall Ships were in the port. Most of the places in Canal Park were out of our budget. The Radisson was close, it was clean and also is on the trolley line which means 50 cent rides to Canal Park. The sleep number beds were nice and the linens were also top quality. The room was just your average hotel room. Within a block or two, depending on which direction you go is: the Depot, Duluth Public Library, Courthouse with a nice fountain and park and also the main Post Office. Downtown is also walkable but is also on the trolley line. The trolley comes by the lobby every 30 minutes but check with the front desk for specific times. Will stay here again.

DO NOT stay here!!!. This was honestly the worst hotel stay we ever had. The staff was very rude and unprofessional. Everything in the building was broken or falling apart. For crying out loud even half the light bulbs in our room were burnt out. Yes the building is a bit older but really I have had better stays at a motel 6 in Detroit!!!!! If you ask for any kind of help from the staff their response is pretty much sucks for you and good luck. We decided to stay here even though there were many bad reviews on expedia and completely regret it. I have never taken the time to write a review on a place but this was so bad I just had to.

P.S don’t let the elevator door eat you. Even if you make it to your room you will be lucky if your door latch works.

P.P.S JJ Astor was a great restaurant, with great staff.
