There burritos are very hit or miss. I order the same thing every time I've there and it could be delicious or hardly edible. The last time I went, which sparked this review, it seemed like they poured a bowl of soup in to a tortilla. Staff is either good or bad. A lot of times, it feels like they're more interested in hanging out and looking cool than waiting on the people that are there.

Mean staff and NOT CHIPOLTE!. I stopped going here because they refuse to let you order your burrito and build your own like Chipolte (which is who they are totally ripping off) does. When they opened they had no problem letting people build their own burritos, but now you are forced to take it to-go if you do it that way. Which is dumb because then you don't order beer and spend your money at the bar.

The chicken at the Union is boiled and watery with very little taste, unlike most chicken for fajitas or burritos that is grilled. The chips are dry and have no taste and the salsa is bland. To add insult to all of this they charge an arm and a leg. I love Chipolte and write the company often to come to Duluth. The Union is a nice bar, but the food is horrible. There are much better mexican restaurants in the area.

Love the bar, but the food is not good at all for the price and the staff is mean. Maybe that is part of the "schtick" though if it is supposed to taste and feel like communist Russia.

Great wings, good people. I'm hard pressed to think of Cons for this place. If I were to dig deep, I'd like to see new types of sauces to accompany the food. Perhaps some more live music woudl be nice too.

You'll see a lot of regulars in here. Granted, it's probably not the best Mexican food you've ever had, but I'm glad to see something like this in Duluth.
