Good food, can get really busy.
Although it's called the New Scenic Cafe, there doesn't seem to be much of a view of the lake. Also, we waited about 20 minutes past our reservations for our table. The food, however, made up for this.
The Artichoke Dip arrived super-hot (I burned my tongue) but was really tasty. My wife had a corn chowder soup (very tasty) and the King Crab salad (also very nice). My duck was a little rare and I asked to have it cooked a bit more and the server promptly brought it back. The desserts (Lemon Tiramisu and Chocolate Mocha Cake) are to die for. Don't leave without dessert!

Best restaurant in Minnesota.
What is there not to like about this restaurant? It is organic, the wine list is awesome, the service is great and the food actually has flavor. The mussels are awesome and comes with a nice warm, cripsy bread to soak up the sauce. Mmmmm. Whenever we come this way we always stop here. The food and service keeps getting better. If there isn't a wine you don't like, which is hard because the list is great, you can bring your own for a $15 corkage fee, which doesn't seem like much. Economically the prices can't compare to anything you get in the cities.

Different. This restaurant is great if you like to try new and different things. They are very organic. The drive is very pretty, but I am more of a traditional cuisine person myself.

THE BEST IN ALL OF DULUTH!. This has to be the best restaurant on the North Shore. The food is unbelievable and the wine selection is great. They change the menu so that is an even bigger bonus. The service is incredible - they get very busy so make reservations but if you are visiting Duluth - this is a must!

Healthy and Clean Veggie place.
Chose this one as it was overlooking the lake and didn't want to go to the ones on Lake St.
Nice place. Good decor. Amicable people. But we were not seated next to the window facing the lake. Some lame excuse about server availability.
Food is kinda less than what we expected. But decent bang for the buck!
